Recent Activity.

Hi everyone.
So I'm gonna tell you guys of what I've been doing lately.

I'M HAVING HOLIDAYS NIGGA!

Well as you know that I'm having exactly 7 days period of holiday therefore I shall call this "heavenly acceptable." Of course it is. Since the "what I've been doing lately" might consist random topics, I'd like to tell about Secondhand Serenade. What do you expect? :P

Bet you guys already know that they're going to be holding a concert here in tennis indoor senayan on 28th of April 2012. And guess what... I'm gonna watch them! YAY! Actually they've been here (to Indonesia) before when I was in grade 7 but I got no chance of watching them live because my parents wouldn't allow me to be in one of the crowds over there :( but hey, I guess this is worth waiting. As I mentioned before, they're coming back here! So yeah, I'm gonna get the original ticket right before the day the concert will be held. Around Kebayoran Baru, my friend says. I'm going to watch their live performance with 3 of my friends, they are Rezky, Clarissa and Rolina. I've been admiring John Vesely ever since I was in grade 6. The first Secondhand's song I heard was Your Call. (well, who doesn't know the popularity of this song). The chord on guitar for Your Call isn't that hard, in fact, it's the exact opposite. You should look up to it!

Oh and actually I'm kinda hoping that The Script and Bruno Mars will be here soon as well :( because I failed to watch them live. First, The Script promotor managed the concert only for 21+. Yeah yeah you gotta be kidding me, one big question: WHY. Is there any striptease so that under-aged people weren't allowed to have eye on them? Shit just got real. Why didn't it go for another band? I mean... It's The Script! THE FUCKING SCRIPT. Please note this, I want you guys to comeback here, and fuck all the 21+ thingy.
And Bruno Mars. Yes. No need to identify all the things that related to him. Everyone knows. He's been here on 5th April of 2011 and I couldn't see him because the day Adrie Subono determined apparently it was the day approaching UAN so my mom automatically didn't allow me to see him because that time I haven't yet gotten any approval from the high school. Sucks right, I know. So I just watched Bruno Mars' performance on youtube... Well not only watched it from youtube but I also downloaded the masterpiece! Ha. At least I could watch it whenever I have the tendency to do so, unless if my data computer gets formatted... I'll be gone wild over that. Lol.

BREAKING NEWS: Drake has just released the Take Care videoclip and I literally can't stop listening to it, have you guys heard the song? It's been on repeat since the time I wrote the title of the blog lol no it's been on repeat since I opened the mozilla tab yeah whatever. If you guys fancy to see one, check this out! Take Care (Drake Feat. Rihanna)

Oh and ummm I haven't watched The Hunger Games, Journey to the Mysterious Island, Mirror Mirror, and the other recent movies that is happening on cinema. Is it any good? The movies I've watched are only Titanic 3d (yeah I told you about that in my older post), The Raid (guys this is recommended because this is a go-international one from Indonesia itself and there is Iko Uwais who is good-looking and charming and really attractive yeah once you get to see this movie your reaction will be... Astounded. Astonished. Surprised. Flabbergasted. Yeah that's for me, but everyone has different perspectives so that's okay). Lately I don't watch movie that much because I don't know... The intensity of boredom I'm having is so inevitable that it makes me become a lazy person. I don't tweet as much as I usually do either, I don't know it's just that if I become too fussy on someone's timeline they would click the spam button or they would feel irritated if my idea doesn't fit with theirs. So if you guys are asking what have I been doing exactly lately, the answer is crystal clear. What else other than blogging? :P I've been scrolling down through my facebook photo and  guess what... As a result, I'm pretty much missing my 9A. My girls. My family. What have you guys been up to? I wish I could hug you guys any minute now. *backsound: Glee - Perfect*

Oh and I've been reading The Lost Hero. One of Rick Riordan's amazing novel. I haven't read that much either, so I couldn't tell you guys what's inside it. This is the cover of the book. If you guys that type of person who enjoy Greek or Romans or anything related to Zeus/Poseidon/Hades, you should really have time to read this one:

And for those who are going to be having National Examination tomorrow, I hope each and everyone of you be blessed by God, I hope that God makes an easiest way for you all to pass it. Just believe that God have mercy upon us, so, have a best of luck. Especially for my only seniors, Detasment - Destvel 70. All I know is that becoming successful is your future. Keep the spirit up. :)

Last but not least, happy holiday everyone!

Thomas Jeffrey Hanks.

Have I told you my current liking towards Tom Hanks?
Oh, yes, I just did. And right now, I want to share some facts about him.
He was born in Concord, California on the 9th of July 1956. He's old I know, but  come on, age problem doesn't matter as long as he got something amazing under that, right?

First. I was impressed by the way he acts in "The Da Vinci Code" which was filmed in the year 2006.

The story tells the investigation started by symbolist Professor Robert Langdon and a good-looking cryptologist, Sophie Neveu, around the murder of a Museum Louvre's curator. Symbologist Robert Langdon is thrown into a mysterious and bizarre murder. Alongside Langdon is the victims granddaughter and cryptologist Sophie Neveu, who with Robert discovers clues within Da Vinci's paintings. To further find the truth, Robert and Sophie travel from Paris to London, whilst crossing paths with allies and villains such as Sir Leigh Teabing and Silas. Wherever their path takes them, their discovery which is about to be revealed could shake the foundations of mankind. Unless Langdon and Neveu can decipher the labyrinthine puzzle in time, the Priory's secret and a stunning historical truth, will be lost forever.

Second. For those of you who enjoy watching Sci-Fi movie, must have favorited this one.

Despite his notorious relationship with the Roman Catholic church, Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon is once again called upon to decipher the clues to a catastrophic conspiracy. Following the murder of a physicist, Father Silvano Bentivoglio, a symbolist, Robert Langdon, and a scientist, Vittoria Vetra, are on an adventure involving a secret brotherhood, the Illuminati. Clues lead them all around the Vatican, including the four altars of science, Earth, Air, Fire and Water. An assassin, working for the Illuminati, has captured four cardinals, and murders each, painfully. Robert and Vittoria also are searching for a new very destructive weapon that could kill millions.

Third. This is not about a movie but a book. A book concerning Robert Langdon which is entitled...

This is about a Harvard symbologist, Robert Langdon, who is summoned to give a lecture at the United States Capitol, with the invitation apparently from his mentor, a 33rd degree mason named Peter Solomon, who is the head of the Smithsonian Institution. Solomon has also asked him to bring a small, sealed package which he had entrusted to Langdon years earlier. When Langdon arrives at the Capitol, however, he learns that the invitation he received was not from Solomon, but from Solomon's kidnapper, Mal'akh, who has left Solomon's severed right hand in the middle of the Capitol Rotunda in a recreation of the Hand of Mysteries. Mal'akh then contacts Langdon, charging him with finding both the Mason's Pyramid, which Masons believe is hidden somewhere underground in Washington D.C., and the Lost Word. Pretty much recommended to all of you who are interested in reading mysteries plot. Too bad they haven't yet filmed this one...

Fourth, I admired his act when he was in "The Terminal".

Viktor Navorski, a man from an Eastern European country arrives in New York. However after he left his country war broke out. Suddenly Navorski is a man without a country - or one that the U.S. cannot recognize, thus he is denied entrance to the U.S. However, he also can't be deported so he is told by the Security Manager that he has to remain in the airport until his status can be fixed. And also Navorski doesn't speak English very well, so he cannot talk to or understand anyone. But he somehow adapts and sets up residence in the airport, which makes the man who placed him there unhappy, as it seems he is in line for a promotion but Navroski's presence might complicate that. So he tries to get Navorski to leave but Navorski remains where he is. Navorski makes friends with some of the people who work in the airport and is attracted to a flight attendant he runs into whenever she comes in.

Fifth. Extremely Loud And Incredibly Close. This movie is actually not really about Tom Hanks himself, in this movie he was just being a father who was killed in 9/11 tragedy so, yeah.

Sixth. He was also involved in Forrest Gump, well yeah, who doesn't know this movie.

I bet most of you guys already knew the movie plot, so let's just skip this off.

Seventh. Yes, The Money Pit.

The story begins with attorney Walter Fielding and his girlfriend Anna Crowley learning of his father Walter Sr.’s wedding in Rio de Janeiro, after escaping the country after having  millions of dollars from their musician clients. The next morning, the couple hears noises and are surprised to find workmen putting furnishings around their apartment and a man asking them, "you’re still here?!" It becomes clear that Walter and Anna do not own the apartment; it belongs to Anna's ex-husband Max Beissart), a self-loving conductor who has returned unexpectedly early from a tour in Europe and intends to take up residence again.

Eighth. Comedy movie.

Happy-go-lucky advertising executive David Basner (Tom Hanks) who recently got a promotion at his  Chicago ad agency, returns to work from a vacation. He is utterly carefree until his parents split up after 36 years of marriage. Out of the blue, he must care for his aging, bitter father, Max, as well as be there for his emotionally fragile mother, Lorraine. To add insult to injury, Max has just been fired from his 35-year career in the garment industry. At work, David is developing a commercial for Colonial Airlines, owned by the rich and eccentric Andrew Woolridg. A successful ad campaign would likely promote David to partner in his company. David develops a relationship with Woolridge's daughter, no-nonsense Cheryl Ann Wayne. His father is well aware of David's playboy nature. Asking at one point if his son is in bed with a woman, Max adds: "Anybody you know?"

Ninth. Tom Hanks won the Academy Award for Best Actor.

Andrew Beckett (Tom Hanks) is a senior associate at the largest corporate law firm in Philadelphia. Although he lives with his partner Miguel Álvarez, Beckett is not open about his  homosexualityat the law firm, nor the fact that he has AIDS. On the day he is assigned the firm's newest and most important case, one of the firm's partners notices a small lesion on Beckett's forehead.

 Tenth. Yes. Sleepless In Seattle.

Sam Baldwin, a Chicago architect, loses his wife Maggie to cancer. He and his young son Jonah start new lives in Seattle, but Sam still grieves. 18 months later, on Christmas Eve 1992, Jonah—who wants his father to find a new wife—calls into a talk radio show. Jonah persuades Sam to go on the air to talk about how much he misses Maggie. Hundreds of women from around the country hear the program, and touched by the story, write to Sam.

Eleventh. The movie has the unusual distinction of being partly in the Judezmo language. As of July, 2006, there were only five movies in the entire IMDB that are even partially in the Judeo-Spanish language. Much of the film was shot on location in Israel, mostly in Jerusalem.

Twelfth. The film depicts his successful attempts to survive on the island using remnants of his plane's cargo, as well as his eventual escape and return to society.

Thirteenth. Road to Perdition. Something about murder.

Fourteenth. Catch Me If You Can. Yes baby. DiCaprio and Hanks were both involved in this movie.
The ending credits reveal that Frank has been happily married for 26 years, has three sons, lives in the Midwest, is still good friends with Carl, has caught some of the world's most elusive money forgers, and earns millions of dollars each year because of his work creating unforgeable checks.

Fifteenth. Cloud Atlas is an upcoming German made English-language historical/science fiction film. The directors wrote the screenplay based on the 2004 novel of the same name by David Mitchell. With an ensemble cast to cover the film's multiple storylines, production began in September 2011 at Studio Babelsberg in Germany. The film is scheduled to be released in October 2012. Can't wait for it.

Oh and, Tom Hanks were also included in Toy Story 2 and The Simpsons Movie. He fills up the voice for some of the characters. I think that he's as astounding as DiCaprio. (Well it's just that Tom Hanks is much older than him but I don't mind at all.)

Titanic (1997)

Hi.
It’s been awhile since the last time I posted something on my blog.

So yesterday I watched Titanic in 3D (I know right, this film has always been kind of repeated by RCTI or the other TV programmes every once in a year) and it’s too bad that some of the scenes are partially censored just like the ones they usually broadcast on TV. I watched this flick because I commemorate 100 years history of the so-called unsinkable ship which was actually sunk on the 12th of April 1912. (was it really 12 or 14? Between that date, I suppose.)

Back then when I was 7 years old I was somehow frantically obsessed by the movie, especially the soundtrack entitled My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion. My sort of obsession increases every time I watched this movie that it comes to the idea of looking for the perfect melodies for this song in Pianika. Sounds dumb I know but I still (quite) remember what is the exact tone for it, kyaaa.

Funny how a (more or less) 6 hours love story tragically ended in just a blink of an eye. A third class man met a first class 17-year-old woman in Titanic. The ship was incredibly huge, and there were 2000 passengers making their way back to America. 5 minutes before Titanic sails to the sea, Jack Dawson and Fabrizio was still playing with a pack of cards that will change one of their lives, with the other two men. Lucky bastard, Jack won the lottery and he deserved the Titanic ticket. Then he successfully got into Titanic. While Rose considered that it was just a slave ship that would take her to America to engage Cal Hockley.

Rose feel suffocated that she decided to jump down to the coldness of Atlantic water. And then Jack came. (which is actually one of my favorite of all time scenes). I love the way Jack prevented Rose to jump down by saying, “It would hurt. I’m not saying it wouldn’t. Tell you the truth, I’m a lot more concerned about that water being so cold. Freezing, maybe a couple of degrees over. In Wisconsin, they have some of the coldest winters around. I grew up there, near Chippewa Falls. I remember when I was a kid, me and my father went ice fishing out on Lake Wissota. I fell through some thin ice, and I’m telling you, water that cold, like right down there... It hits you like a thousand knives stabbing you all over your body. You can’t breathe, you can’t think, at least not about anything but the pain, which is why I’m not looking forward to jumping in there after you. Like I said, I don’t have a choice. I guess I’m kinda hoping you’ll come back over the railing and get me off the hook here.”

And I love how Jack Dawson, in the scene where he was having an extravagant dinner with the fine people, says, “I got everything I need right here with me, I got air in my lungs, a few blank sheets of paper. I mean, I love waking up in the morning not knowing what’s gonna happen or, who I’m gonna meet, where I’m gonna wind up. Just the other night I was sleeping under a bridge and now here I am on the grandest ship in the world having champagne with you fine people. I figure life’s a gift and I don’t intend on wasting it. You don’t know what hand you’re gonna get dealt next. You learn to take life as it comes at you... To make each day count.” Bet you 10 bucks young Leo’s more appealing every time he says something wise.

Ladies and gentlement, due to all the shudder that I have whenever the scene is getting deeper, I have to pee first. Lol. But don’t worry, of course I won’t miss the ultimate scene so stay tuned.

And here it comes. When Rose’s mother forbids her to see Jack ever again, Jack, with his surprising idea comes up and pulls Rose into an empty hallway and says, “Rose, you’re no picnic all right? You’re a spoiled little brat even, but under that, you’re the most amazingly, astounding, wonderful girl, woman that I’ve ever known. (yeah Jack but too bad it doesn’t last long). I know how the world works. I’ve got ten bucks in my pocket, I have nothing to offer you and I know that. I understand, but I’m too involved now. You jump, I jump remember? I can’t turn away without knowing you’ll be all right... That’s all what I want. They’ve got you trapped Rose, you’re gonna die if you don’t break free. Maybe not right away because you’re strong but sooner or later, that fire that I love about you... That fire’s gonna burn out.” Told you the scene is getting attached to melancholy line.

Tears were streaming down when the grandest Titanic already out of sight. Remember when Jack says he’s a good swimmer? And yes, he really is, insisting his body to feel the coldness of the Atlantic water. And with all the strengths that left, he still managed to say, “Listen, Rose. You’re gonna get out of here, you’re gonna go on and you’re gonna make lots of babies and you’re gonna watch them grow. You’re gonna die an old... An old lady warm in her bed, not here, not this night. Not like this, do you understand me? Winning that ticket, Rose, was the best thing that ever happened to me... It brought me to you. And I’m thankful for that, Rose. I’m thankful. You must do me this honor. Promise me you’ll survive, that you won’t give up, no matter what happens, no matter how hopeless. Promise me now, Rose, and never let go of that promise. Never let go.” If your heart beats stronger and your body trembles that means we’re the same normal people. Come, Josephine, in my flying machine... Going up, she goes up, up she goes...

Here’s to you guys who have been waiting to the ultimate scene of all. Well, the upcoming scene would be just ordinary words to several of you but for me, this one indeed has my attention. I did cry like a baby every time this scene is being displayed. When the old Rose Calvert says, “I’ve never spoken of him until now, not to anyone, not even your grandfather. A woman’s heart is a deep ocean of secrets. But now you know there was a man named Jack Dawson and that he saved me, in every way that a person can be saved. I don’t even have a picture of him. He exists now... Only in my memory.”
